There are one Suggestion to question “My Acer Aspire One laptop touchpad is pointing but not clicking?”
HI.
I take it you do not mean the left and right mouse buttons so you must mean the tap function when you tap the pad.
I have 3 options for you .
1st Look at mouse properties and enable tap if not enabled.
Windows start > control panel > mouse > tapping > check >Apply /ok.
Or if you have the mouse driver icon in system tray get to mouse properties from this
2nd Re-install mouse drivers
Run erecovery > restore(bottom first page ) >drivers and utility’s/applications.
Find erecovery management in start in all programs in the Acer Folder.
Or run from Acer tool bar.
Or find the drivers on the down load page on the Acer site.
