I have an ASUS 1001P netbook as well as with each chronicle of linux we have tried. we have not been means to get wifi to work. we looked it up a whilst behind as well as it seems to be a complaint with my indication netbook. we have attempted Ubuntu as well as Puppy Linux, we have attempted regulating a referred to drivers which it has presintalled though nothing of them work. It only pronounced it cannot bond to my internet. The drivers dont work during all. What can we implement to get this to work? we unequivocally wish to know since my netbook would run so most smoother with Linux instead of Windows. Thanks.

Can you please ask the question in Ubuntu Forum?

It is much more easier to answer questions there than in yahoo answers. Ubuntu forum is the proper place for asking any kind of question (dumb or smart) related to ubuntu. Thousands of users are there, so you’ll get your answer quickly and correctly.
If you can find it palatable, try Jolicloud. Have a facebook account handy.

If you can see the network under wireless networks available then maybe you need to configure your IP, gateway, etc. If you had to set it manually in Windows you’d have to do it in Linux too.
If the network is not being detected ensure that wifi is turned on. There’d be a separate switch or Fn+some key combination to turn on or off.
Please specify the thing that "said it cannot connect to internet".
