There are 3 suggestions to question “IS THE Dell Inspiron E1505 (Intel Core 2 Duo) A GOOD LAPTOP?”
1. yes, the inspirion e1505 is a good notebook
but i would prefer the e1405 !
14.1" truelife widescreen is ample and more than a handfull & any bigger makes the notebook a lot less portable
2. yes, the core 2 duo is superb, provided u choose the t7x00 & not the t5x00 processor
the t7200 is good enuf
2.0 ghz, 667 mhz fsb, 4 mb l2 cache
it is the 4 mb l2 cache which is awesome, even for a desktop processor
the t7400 & t7600 are even faster, but cost too much to justify their selection
3. a tip when buying inspirion or dell, choose truelife screen option, adds more zing or life to display !
>> happy computing !
it’s a dual core processor. Like 2 processors in one.
It all depends on what you wnat to do with it. If you aren’t going to be doing any massive downloads or massive gaming then it’s a GREAT laptop. The Duo Core processor is amazingly fast, and can multi-task better than anything I’ve ever seen. The processor isn’t why I say that the Dell isn’tfor gaming, that’s just because Dells are mostly budget computers (the XPS being the exception). So Inspiron for normal use, XPS for gaming if you want to stay with Dell. If money wasn’s a problem you should go for a Sony Vaio, because they are the Cadillac of laptops.
