Wow yeap partner thats a large dilema means a ipad is coool as well as all which though if ur a tyro i consider u should though a netbook since a some-more utilitarian a netbook can imitation out stuff, netbooks have usb ports etc, etc, etc so if u wanna be cold get a ipad if u wanna get great grades definatly get a netbook

Contrary to popular believe, the iPad does NOT make you look ‘Cool’. It really really doesn’t. That doesn’t mean its not a cool little gadget though. Its great for GENERAL internet browsing and has loads of fantastic apps.
But…
Other than that, its very limited. A netbook isn’t as cool a gadget, since its just a mini laptop. But its much more versatile. So depending on what you want to use them for (and think about the future too, not just now) they both have their advantages and disadvantages.
A netbook is more powerful that you think i have one and i don’t think 2 gb hard drive is enough my netbook has 200 gb hard drive and for windows you must have minimum 5 gb and my netbook has Intel Atom 1,66Ghz it’s enough for work and for games too cs 1.6 work on a netbook war craft 3 work fifa 08 and fifa online work. It’s 350$ cost and named lenovo.
And an Ipad is expensive.

That less than $ 100 dog isn’t a real netbook. Windows CE doesn’t have support for Flash video, making most websites useless on that thing. These are examples of real netbooks:

DON’T get that thing you suggested. I would recommend a REAL netbook over the iPad anyday, too.

Netbooks are totally worthless even if you get free. These are so choppy and sluggish that you cant work on it for long hours.

If you are going out of wi fi range,just bring selected item to device,after use send them back to cloud.On computer it’s complicated , but on iPad it’s as easy as playing iPod.

erformance doesn’t depend on the capacity only , it depends on ratio of load and capacity. iPad has less powerful processor but it’s doesn’t have load. It has iOS4 OS which is light but very functional. .Net books are actually nothing but cheap laptops they do not fall under new category because besides being cheap and sluggish they have nothing different from laptop. That’s the reason Netbooms failed miserably.
1million of ipads are selling every 27 days just in US which is incredible.
PC games sucks on Netbooks. I own Toshiba Satellite Netbook and iPad both so I am in position to give hands on experience.It’s just not possible to work on Netbooks.
Go to Bestbuy, play a movie via NETFLIX ON Netbook and iPad side by side, you will stark difference in video quality.iPad will blow any Netbook out of water.
Create a document on Netbook and then do the same thing on iPad and see which one is better and easier. I like iPad to the extent that I advice people if you have powerful Desktop then don’t get laptop,get iPad instead.
Netbook is good for even nerds.Nerds will go mostly for Notebooks but research says Harvard university’s Internet got clogged on the next day of iPad release. So you can imagine brightest brain are also in love with iPad.
